La Corda D'Oro - My beloved and Inspirational Anime

Ohayou minna-sann Moshi Moshi..
Long time no seee. hmm.. that's because i have so many things to do.. And now "The boy who have so many passion on many things" make a comeback!! (yippie)..

Recently.. (well it's about 5 months ago).. I DISCOVERED AN ANIME WHICH CHANGED MY MUSICAL LIFE!!!!

The story is about the main character (Hino Kahoko) who encountered a music fairy.. The music fairy gave her a magic violin which make the owner can play the violin like an expert.. The only key is just remember the tunes.. And you played it perfectly~~.. And then Hino entered a music concour (by force).. Yeah fyi the main character never play a violin until that the fairy gave the violin.. At first she denied, but, then she accept it somehow. During the concour, she's getting enjoyed the music, and started to love Violin.

The Main Character of this anime. A complete beginner of Violin. But become an expert after she got the magic violin. I love all of her song which she performed on concour..

One of concour contestant.. In my eyes he is the most skillful contestant on concour.. He always play something magnificient.. Oh my GOD, believe me, his performance won't disappoint you..

Name : Fuyuumi Shoko
Class : 1-A (Music Department)
Instrument : Clarinet
Performance style : Beautiful
Seiyuu : Akemi Satou
Player Side : Nishizaki Tomoko

Fuyuumi is my first girl interest in La Corda.. OMG Look at her face!! It's cute right! Well yeah, she is the only girl from music department who join the concour.. Well, at first she was a super nervous girl, that nervous made her first and second performance not as beautiful as the third and final performance.. But after she watched hino's second performance (which is Hino's best performance).. She learned that the key just enjoy and play with your heart.

Name : Yunoki Azuma
Class : 3-B (Music Department).
Instrument : Flute
Performance Style : Graceful
Seiyuu : Daisuke Kishio
Player side : Shin Edo

Yunoki Azuma is MY FIRST BIAS in La Corda.. OMG, the first thing you'll say maybe : wow, SHE is Beautiful.. But NOT SHE.. BUT HE!!! 'Cuz he is a BOY.. And he is the IDOL among the girls in Seiso Academy.. Oh my, but even after knowing that he is a boy, i still love him.. Okay, at first, he is the KINDEST boy among other contestant. But, then after second concour, he showed his TRUE SELF to Hino. Actually he has a "Dark side" which annoys Hino (Only Hino knows that he has a "Darkside).. But, then he is my top boy. Performance? well he is great at flute,  his performance is always full of grace.. Believe me.

Name : Tsuchiura Ryotarou
Class : 2-5 (General Education)
Instrument : Piano
Performance style : Gentle
Seiyuu : Kentaro Ito
Player side : Masaru Okada

Gentle and skillful. Two words that suitable to describe his performance.At first he hide his piano ability.. But after he accompanied Hino in first concour (Hino's accompanist betrayed her and Tsuchiura came to accompany her as her temporary accompanist).. He decided to play Piano in front of public again, after his dark past (watch the anime ^_^).. After the first concour incident, the headmaster decided to let him enter the concour (his first concour is the second concour). In my opinion he's the second best among other contestant.

Name : Kazuki Hihara
Class : 3-B (Music Department)
Instrument : Trumpet
Performance style : Dynamic
Seiyuu : Masakazu Morita
Player Side : Kazuki Abe

Hihara is an outgoing person and is extremely friendly to others.Hihara is the first person who tell hino to enjoy music. He's an orchestra club member in Seiso. His performance is always dynamic (because of his trumpet? ^_^).

Name : Shimizu Keiichi
Class : 1-1 (Music Department)
Instrument : Cello
Performance style : Skillful, a "Textbook Performance"
Seiyuu : Jun Fukuyama
Player Side : Tomoki Tai

Shimizu is a Moe character here.He is very drowsy all the time and often seems confused or in a daze. Shimizu speaks slowly and politely, in a quiet voice, and can be found sleeping anywhere, anytime. many people gave him the title of "Sleeping Beauty" from his handsome face and drowsy manner. But, behind all of those manner, he is a quite skillful cellist. He got the third place in first concour, indicating that he is quite skillful.


I just give the description of main characters, for the rest watch the anime ^_^.. 


This anime really really inspire me to take an instrument (Violin or Clarinet XD XD).. Yea, i don't know why, but this is the first time i enjoy classical music (Even makes me want to play some of the piece).. This anime teach me many things from "Never give up", "there isn't a broken thing that can't be repaired (Especially Friendship)", "Classical music isn't that high class, everyone can enjoy it"..And many more.. Wuaahhh i 
love this anime : the music, story, the characters.. ALL OF THEM.. I suggest this anime for those who want to learn more about classical music. The best part of this anime is : The Concour, wahh i love all of the concours.. Their performances are superb, and makes me jealous (why i didn't take an instrument long ago). After all i rate this anime : 4 (out of 5).. Because the epic and lovely storyline, the purrfffeecctttttt music and the unique character.. La Corda d'Oro~ Primo Passo is the first of corda series.. The secondo Passo (which is an OVA *only 2 episodes* released on 2009).. And there's a rumor that secondo passo will continue to third series of corda.. I can't wait...
